Consultancy
The Landecker Digital Memory Lab offers a free consultancy service to teams involved in the development of digital memory initiatives. This service is available to policymakers, funders, creative and tech professionals, academics, educators, and Holocaust memory and education organisations.
What we offer?
We can offer a range of bespoke services:
- Support with overall digital strategy for your organisation or a consortium of organisations. For this, we would have an initial kick-off meeting, possible follow-up meetings with key stakeholders or converse over email, hold a ½-1 day workshop with agreed stakeholders, and then provide a skeleton document to support the development of your strategy.
- Provide bespoke ½ – 1 day training sessions for your staff. These can be on any of our core research topics: AI; VR, AR, MR; computer games; social media; demystifying the digital in the Holocaust context; fears and concerns; and strategy and implementation.
- Provide consultancy meetings (usually 1-2 hours each in length) at any stage of a project, from initial idea through grant writing, development and project management to dissemination, marketing and impact analysis. We can offer a series of meetings across a project’s duration.
- Policy and/or funding consultancy. We can offer specific support to policymakers and funders looking to review how they support digital Holocaust projects in the form of short meetings over a period of time, or ½ – 1 day sessions.
How to get involved?
You can access our consultancy programme through two routes:
- If you are offered or in the process of applying for funding through one of our collaborators, you can access our consultancy programme through them or contacting us directly. This applies currently to Claims Conference New Media and Association of Jewish Refugees grantees.
- You can get in touch via our contact form to discuss bespoke consultancy support. This may be in the shape of a one-off meeting or a longer-term programme. We will arrange an initial meeting to discuss your needs and draw up a Memorandum of Understanding which defines the agreed support.
Our research team members each have 10% of their workload dedicated to this programme, so whilst that is quite generous depending on demand there may be waiting list. For more information, get in touch via our contact form.
Whilst the consultancy service is provided free-of-charge, if you would like one of our team to visit your offices or project site in-person, we would require that all travel, accommodation and sustenance is provided.
